07.11.2018. The Fund has gathered today around 40 experts in different fields so that through the exchange of experiences and opinions it could determine the subjects of the new programme Energy and Climate Change worth €20 million. The Fund will be the Programme Operator, and it will be co-financed in the amount of €17 million by Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein through the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism.
29.10.2018. The Fund will launch a new Public Call for co-financing the systems using renewable energy sources in family houses. “We will provide HRK 12 million for the citizens to co-finance the purchase and installation of biomass boilers and heat pumps. Depending on the area where the house is located, it is possible to get the grant ranging from 40% to 80%, i.e. in the maximum amount of 35 thousand kuna inclusive of VAT for the installation of the biomass system, or up to 45 thousand kuna inclusive of VAT for the heat pump systems”, announced Director of the Fund Dubravko Ponoš.
23.10.2018. The citizens of Dugo Selo can dispose of their sorted waste at the new recycling yard that was opened today in the ceremony attended by Director of the Fund Dubravko Ponoš and the mayor of Dugo Selo Nenad Panijan. The construction was financed under the OPCC; Dugo Selo was granted 3 million kuna from the Cohesion Fund, while the remaining amount of approximately half a million kuna has been allocated from the town budget.
09.10.2018. The citizens of Ludbreg now have the opportunity to dispose their waste at the new recycling yard. The opening ceremony was held by the mayor of Ludbreg Dubravko Bilić, Director of the Fund Dubravko Ponoš, and State Secretary for the environment Mile Horvat. On the operational level, the project worth HRK 5.5 million was implemented by the Fund’s Intermediate Body level 2, and it was co-financed from the European Cohesion Fund. The remaining 15 percent of investment was provided by the Town of Ludbreg through the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds.
05.10.2018. More than 700 participants attended the Days of the regional development and EU funds held in Solaris, where Director Dubravko Ponoš took part in the panel entitled “Energy Transition”. A discussion was held on the methods to motivate the inhabitants of the Croatian islands to adopt the new technologies and renewable energy sources.
04.10.2018. Today in Grubišno Polje, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Dubravko Ponoš attended the signing of the energy renovation agreement for the Ivan Nepomuk Jemeršić Primary School, Bartol Kašić High School and the associated school sports hall. The agreement worth almost HRK 11 million was signed by the head of Bjelovar-Bilogora County Damir Bajs and the contractors.
22.09.2018. The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund participated in the panel discussion on circular economy at the 11th Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj. The main benefits of this model were discussed by Dubravko Ponoš (EPEEF), Aleksandra Anić Vučinić (Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering in Varaždin), and Sandra Vlašić (Terra Hub Croatia).
20.09.2018. Mr. Dubravko Ponoš, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, received an acknowledgement from the Management Board of the Croatia Green Building Council, appointing him campaign Ambassador in Croatia for the ‘Advancing Net Zero’ project.
18.09.2018. Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction and physical planning Predrag Štromar, Minister of Justice Dražen Bošnjaković, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Dubravko Ponoš, and State Secretary at the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning Dunja Magaš, took part in the ceremony marking the occasion of obtaining the grant for the project of energy renovation of the building of the Municipal Court in Slavonski Brod.
01.09.2018. The mayor of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Predrag Štromar, and Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Dubravko Ponoš, signed today Grant Agreements for the financing of energy renovation of the kindergartens “Ciciban” and “Izviđač” from EU funds, amounting in total to HRK 1.5 million.
24.08.2018. The renovation of Bjelovar General Hospital should start soon, with the investment worth HRK 8.2 million, and the agreement on co-financing of this project was signed today by the Director of the Fund, Dubravko Ponoš, and hospital administrator Ali Allouch, MD.
24.08.2018. Together with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction Predrag Štromar, Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund Dubravko Ponoš attended the meeting with the mayor of Varaždin Ivan Čehok. One of the items on the agenda discussed at the meeting was, among other things, resolving the issue of the Varaždin baled waste.
