Board of Directors

Bodies of the Fund that manage it comprise the Board of Directors and the Director of the Fund. The Board of Directors manages the Fund in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, the Statute of the Fund and other general documents of the Fund, as well as other acts and regulations.

The scope, authorisations and responsibilities, and the method of work of the Board are set out in the Statute of the Fund. The Board of Directors has a chairman and six members who are appointed and relieved of duty by the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

The Government of the Republic of Croatia appoints to the Board of Directors:

  • Two representatives of the ministry responsible for environmental protection,
  • One representative of the ministry responsible for energy,
  • One representative of the ministry responsible for finance,
  • One representative of the Croatian Chamber of Economy,
  • one representative of the Croatian Parliament 
  • One representative of experts in the field of environmental protection.

Members of the Board: 

  • MARIO ŠILJEG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (representative of the ministry responsible for environmental protection),
  • ANJA BAGARIĆ, member (representative of the ministry responsible for environmental protection),
  • IVAN TADIĆ, member (representative of the ministry responsible for energy),
  • INES ŠPIRIĆ, member (representative of the ministry responsible for finance),
  • MIRO TOTGERGELI, member (representative of the Croatian Parliament),
  • LUKA BURILOVIĆ, member (representative of the Croatian Chamber of Economy),
  • NEVEN VOĆA, member (expert in environmental protection).
