First contracts for co-financing

23.09.2020.

The Fund has sent the first contracts for co-financing energy renovation of family houses to the applicants whose applications met the requirements of the Public Call.

Depending on the measures they intend to implement in the energy renovation of their houses, the applicants will be eligible for up to 60% of co-financing, or up to the maximum of HRK 204000. The majority of the houses applied to the call fall in the energy category E or lower, meaning they are inefficient and have extensive heating energy losses. The most requested energy renovation measure applied for was the funding for thermal insulation of the exterior envelope, roof reconstruction, and windows replacement. The additional measures that were also co-financed measures included heating systems and installation of PV modules.

7386 applications to the call were received from all over Croatia, with most of them being from Osijek-Baranja County and Vukovar-Srijem County.

This year, the Fund has allocated HRK 211 million to the citizens, along with HRK 32 million to the vulnerable groups at risk of energy poverty, for whom the Public Call is still open.

It is expected these programmes will continue in the next year, with the new public calls being launched as early as Q1 2021.
