The representatives of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund took part in the Power Energy Masters: 14th International Symposium “Power and Process Plants” and the 9th International Forum on Renewable Energy Sources held from 9 to 11 June in Umag.On that occasion Irena Dubravec, advisor to the director, said: “The topics discussed at the symposium, especially energy economy and legislation, use of green technologies for climate adaptation, environmental protection and waste management, efficient energy use through energy efficiency measures and the role of renewable energy sources – are all types of activities and projects for which the Fund earmarked more than 1bn kunas in 2021,” adding that this funding was budgeted in line with the Green Deal and the climate and energy policy of the Republic of Croatia.
During the second day of the Forum, the head of a department at the Fund Predrag Čuljak held a lecture on the experiences of financing the projects with EU funds.
Along with the representatives of the Fund, the symposium was attended by the stakeholders and representatives of state bodes, experts and scientists in the field of energy, the representatives of higher education and evaluation institutions, professional associations, and producers of energy equipment, plants, and devices, and of Croatian engineering, architecture design, and consultancy companies.
