“Considering the current epidemiological situations, this is a praiseworthy donation that will help protect our medical workers,” said Cecilija Rotim, the head nurse at the Institute.
Every day at the Štampar Institute countless citizens who have developed the symptoms of COVID 19 are tested. The number of positive patients is growing, and consequently the need to admit to hospital the patients with serious health issues. Mrs Rotim appeals to all citizens to be responsible, disciplined, to comply with the prescribed protection measures, to wash and disinfect their hands more often, to wear the mask and to keep physical distance.
Also, it is of the utmost importance to notify without delay all contacts of the persons positive to COVID-19, so that they could be assigned to self-isolation and prevent further potential spread of the virus.
